George Mikan Minneapolis Lakers Autographed 2003-04 Upper Deck Legends Legendary Inscriptions #LI-GM #12/100 Card with “Mr. Basketball” Inscription

Description

George Mikan was the NBA’s first true superstar, a 6-foot-10 center who won five championships with the Minneapolis Lakers between 1949 and 1954 and forced the league to widen the lane just to slow him down. He was named the greatest basketball player of the first half of the 20th century by the Associated Press, cementing the “Mr. Basketball” nickname he carried for life. This 2003-04 Upper Deck Legends Legendary Inscriptions card is hand-signed by Mikan with the “Mr. Basketball” inscription and numbered 12 of 100.
